About the Speaker, Jacquelyn Ottman:

Founder and president of J. Ottman Consulting in New York, Jacquelyn Ottman is internationally recognized as an authority on green marketing and eco-innovation. Since 1989, her company has helped clients gain the competitive advantage by developing and marketing superior new products capable of meeting customer needs with significantly less environmental impact.

Her book, Green Marketing: Opportunity for Innovation, is now in its second edition and has been translated into five languages. She has been a consultant to more than 60 Fortune 500 companies and had a major influence on the growth of the U.S. EPA's Energy Star program.

The principal organizer and driving spirit behind the Design:Green eco-design educational initiative, she sits on the Advisory Board of the Centre for Sustainable Design (U.K.), the Center for Small Business and the Environment, and the NYC chapter of O2, of which she is a past co-chairman. For seven years, she chaired the jury of the American Marketing Association's Special Edison Awards for Environmental Achievement. She was the Keynote Speaker at the 2008 Sustainable Brands Conference, the world's largest industry event related to sustainable business practices.
